Dates and Times

You can arrive from 3pm on Sunday July 28th and camp ends at 1pm on Sunday August 4th 2024. It runs for a full week.

Cost

Location

Rootstock takes place on private land in beautiful woodland and meadowland in South Cambridgeshire.

Due to the privately owned location with no public right of way, ticket holders will be provided with detailed directions via email nearer the time of the event.

There are 2 ticket types: early bird (until March 31st 2024) and full price (from 1st April 2024). Book tickets now!

Parking and public transport

If you're coming by train, the nearest station is Royston, approx 7 miles away, with direct trains from Cambridge and London. Taxis are available at the station.

If you're driving, parking is available on site. When you arrive you'll be guided to the pitching area and once you've unloaded and set up, we'll show you where to park your car. If your vehicle is also your sleeping accommodation you can, of course, stay parked in the pitching area.

Food

You'll be self-catering for the week and are encouraged to cook your evening meals with others around your fire-pit. Like any camping trip, you'll need to bring what you feel you need to enjoy your week. Any camping gear is useful, bring what you can and trust that others will bring the rest! Please note there is no opportunity for freezing or refrigeration so avoid things that will melt or go off in the heat. We can compost waste food but please take your packaging away with you at the end of the camp.
